From Feb 2017 more consumer choice has been introduced into the Home Care Package program. You are now able to direct your Home Care Package to the provider of your choice, spending as you choose, on support and services you want.
Please note that this care type is Government Subsidised. See Private Home Care if you wish to pay for your home care privately.
NDIS
When NDIS have approved your plan, you can then plan your budget, find help to achieve your plan and how it is managed. This means that it is now your chance to choose who to support you, what services you feel you need, who provides them and when and where they are delivered.
